Subscriptions purchased via credit card, SMS, or the Sentimente iOS app include an auto-renewal feature. This means that upon expiration, your subscription will automatically renew for the same duration and at the same initial price.
You can disable the auto-renewal option immediately after completing a subscription order. The deactivation steps vary depending on the payment method used.
1. Card or SMS Payments
If you purchased a subscription via credit card or SMS, you can stop the recurring payment at any time, but no later than one day before the subscription expires, by following these steps:
Click or tap your profile photo (top right corner).
Go to Account Settings > Payment Settings.
Note: If you do not wish for your subscription to renew automatically, you must follow these steps after every new payment made via card or SMS.
2. SMS Payments (Alternative Method)
If the subscription was paid via SMS, you also have the option to disable the recurrence by sending the unsubscription code to the short number. This code can be found in the payment confirmation SMS that all customers receive immediately after a successful transaction.
3. iTunes / Apple Pay Payments
If you paid via iTunes or Apple Pay, the recurring payment can only be deactivated by Apple, as iTunes utilizes a separate billing and collection system. To disable the auto-renewal on an iPhone, please follow the steps below. We recommend canceling the recurrence at least 24 hours before the renewal date:
Open the Settings app on the device used for the initial payment.
Tap your Name.
Tap "Subscriptions". (If you do not see "Subscriptions," tap "iTunes & App Store," then tap your Apple ID, tap "View Apple ID," sign in, scroll down to "Subscriptions," and tap it.)
Tap the subscription you wish to cancel.
Tap "Cancel Subscription." If you do not see this option, the subscription is already canceled and will not renew.
To disable auto-renewal from a Mac computer, please follow the steps indicated here.
